Connect FrameReady to QuickBooks Online
Connect FrameReady to your QuickBooks Online account and then you are all set to push payments and invoices to QuickBooks, from within FrameReady.

FrameReady Integration with QuickBooks Online Overview
The FrameReady QuickBooks Integration allows you to streamline all of your bookkeeping, while providing your employees with one central place to enter in all of your sales, client and product information. FrameReady will collect your data from all of your transactions and pass the needed information to your bookkeeper/accountant.

Note: FrameReady will walk you through the integration process, ensuring everything that is needed from QuickBooks is prepared so that you have a smooth transition between the two software. However, FrameReady cannot assist with using QuickBooks. Our Support Allies have general knowledge of what and where to do things in QuickBooks, but we are not the experts and it’s best for you to work with a QuickBooks expert to ensure that you are processing your information correctly.
What to know before you begin using FrameReady’s QuickBooks Online Integration

The FrameReady QuickBooks Integration is an additional fee added to your subscription. It does not include a QuickBooks Online Account, which will be required in order for this service to work.

FrameReady will push information to QuickBooks to keep your bookkeeping up to date, but it will not automatically retrieve information from QuickBooks.

Any changes to your QuickBooks items, contacts, accounts, etc. must be re-pushed back to FrameReady or you may experience errors with the information that is being passed back to QuickBooks from FrameReady.

You cannot push invoices from QuickBooks to FrameReady, or change invoices and push them to FrameReady. Outside of the initial setup, this integration will only pass information one way to QuickBooks from FrameReady.

At this time, QuickBooks Online is the only service we can Integrate with. QuickBooks Desktop is not supported by FrameReady.
Defining the Integration Process
The basic process to Integrate FrameReady and QuickBooks together is done by importing information from QuickBooks to FrameReady. This step is required whenever new information is created in Quickbooks or information is changed in QuickBooks.
This process may seem confusing, but it’s very simple when you understand the main purpose of importing information from QuickBooks. FrameReady and QuickBooks speak two very different languages. While the information being sent to QuickBooks appears to be simple, it does require that it be associated with matching information in QuickBooks. This is done with QuickBooks IDs. If the information is out of date, this will mean that you could see a disconnect in how an invoice is processed in QuickBooks.
Note: The import process will essentially create what we refer to as a “Dictionary” to translate FrameReady to QuickBooks and vice versa.

Additional Preparation for Setting Up Your FrameReady/QuickBooks Integration
While a majority of the setup should be completed during the integration process, some clients may find that they need to understand how to implement some of FrameReady’s features when pushing invoices to QuickBooks. Review this list to determine if they are things you should be aware of based on how your business uses FrameReady.
How to Apply Percentage Discounts when pushing to QuickBooks - If you use varying Discounts on invoices for line items, this procedure is required to ensure that QuickBooks applies those discounts to your invoices.
How to Show Tax Exempt on an Invoice to be Pushed - Due to how QuickBooks will handle taxes applied to your invoices, it is necessary to be prepared if you are regularly working with Tax Exempt customers.
How to Apply Deposits to Final Invoices in FrameReady to Push to QuickBooks - Due to the nature of Deposits in FrameReady, it will be necessary to be aware of how to apply those deposits to an invoice in a manner that QuickBooks will be able to understand.
How to Manually Link Your FrameReady Contacts to Quickbooks Contacts - With QuickBooks strict policy for not allowing duplicate contacts, it will be necessary at times to manually review the customers that you have imported into FrameReady when it did not properly match during the import process.
How to Remove and Update Records in FrameReady from Quickbooks - A manual update is required anytime there are changes to items, accounts, etc in QuickBooks. In order to do this it is required that the record be removed and then reimported.
Connecting Payment Methods to FrameReady Tender Types - After the import process, you’ll want to ensure that you properly list all of your payment methods that could be used by FrameReady on an invoice.
