Glazing Overview
Glass/glazing can be priced by a Formula, a Code Table or a combination of the two, or by the lite size.
Before You Begin...
Important: We recommend that you first customize your materials list to remove unwanted items. You can always come back later and tweak your prices; so don’t worry about making them absolutely perfect the first time.

You Can Price Glass By:
Formula
-
Glass can be priced by a Formula takes your COG (price per lite size) and multiplies it by a Markup then adds a Set Price, i.e.
Retail Price = Cost x Markup + Set Price -
In some cases, Formula pricing is best because the retail price increases automatically when you adjust the wholesale cost.
Code Table (by UI)
-
Glass can also be priced by a Code Table which cross references the UI (or UCM) with a Retail Price.
Retail Price = Code Table -
Code Tables work best for items sold by fixed sizes or if you are trying to match an existing price chart.
-
The entire Code Table can be increased or decrease by percentage or you can manually adjust the price for each size on the chart.
Code Table (by Lite Size)
-
Glass can also be priced by a Code Table which cross references a Fixed Size with a Retail Price.
