“FileMaker cannot share a file because FileMaker network sharing is turned off”

The Problem

When opening FrameReady, you receive the message “FileMaker cannot share a file because FileMaker network sharing is turned off.”

The Solution

  1. Click OK to close the message.
  2. Login with the level4 account.
  3. On the Main Menu, click the Set Up Data button.
  4. Open the Network tab.
  5. Click the Set Files to Single-User button.

Tip: If you are networking FrameReady to use on multiple computers, then click Set Files to Multi-User instead.

  1. Click OK to return to the Main Menu.
