Set up Glass Pricing

Pricing of Glazing items can be set up with Code Tables, a Markup and Set Price (and/or Min Price) or a combined Markup and Set Price with Code Table.

How to Set up your Glass Pricing

1) Use a Code Table

  • A) Enter your own Code Table to duplicate a price chart you have previously used (based on lite size), or

  • B) Create a Code Table based on the costs of each lite by using the Glass Pricer (calculator)

    See: Glass Pricer Feature

Note: A Code Table takes precedence over all other prices with the exception of the Min Price.

2) Use a Markup and Set Price and/or Min Price

  • A) priced by any Unit of Measure, i.e. United Inch Area, Square Inch, Square Foot, etc.

3) Or use a Combined Markup and Set Price with Code Table

  • Glazing items (i.e. Glass) which are available in multiple sizes should be priced with a Code Table and priced by the lite size.

  • Glazing items (i.e. Acrylic) which come in one or only a few sizes can be priced with a markup and set price by either United Inch Area or Square Inch.

  • Mirrors are often priced by the Square Foot with a markup (plus Set Price).
