Push a Contact to QuickBooks
Use these steps to add a FrameReady customer into your QuickBooks.
-
A push is a one-way transfer of data from FrameReady and into QuickBooks. The reverse, from QuickBooks to FrameReady, is not supported.
-
A push is triggered manually; changes are not automatically pushed.
-
If information needs to be updated, then make the changes in FrameReady first and then click Push to QuickBooks.
How to Push a Contact to QuickBooks
As new contacts are added to FrameReady, their contact data can be sent manually to Quickbooks as needed. A Quickbooks customer ID is required for all invoice and payment transactions.
If the FrameReady Contact has not been added manually before an Invoice is sent to Quickbooks for that customer, then the FrameReady Contact data will be sent to Quickbooks automatically prior to sending the Invoice and payment data.
-
Find the customer's record in the Contacts file.
-
Open the Invoice Details tab.
-
Click the Push to QuickBooks Button.
-
After successfully transmitting data to Quickbooks, the Quickbooks ID, the update Sync Token, and Last QB Update timestamp appear.
-
The FrameReady contact is now entered in Quickbooks and invoice and payment transactions can be created for this Quickbooks customer. The Customer number in QuickBooks will be the same as in FrameReady.
Important: If the customer information needs to be updated, then make the changes in FrameReady first and then click Push to QuickBooks.
