Manage Corner Samples

FrameReady allows for the tracking of the frame and matboard samples you are displaying.

This is a terrific time saver. No use selling a frame to someone if it’s not available.

How to Manage Corner Samples

When new samples arrive, locate them in your Price Codes and mark the Matboard Sample or Moulding Sample checkbox field (top right).
At any time, you can Perform a Find for samples from any particular supplier.
This makes it easy when it comes time to find discontinued samples. You can also print out a list and then go find them on your wall and remove them.

If it is discontinued (or not verified), then you can toss it before dusting as well as free up valuable wall space which should not be wasted on products that can’t be sold.

But don’t toss it in the garbage! Consider donating it to your local high school shop class or Habitat for Humanity ReStore in your area. It’s amazing what craftspeople make out of them.

Optional Ideas

If you want to identify on which sample display wall or in which column the sample is hanging, then you can type that into the Price Codes as well. If you are not using the Location field to identify where the inventory is stored, then you can enter the sample location, e.g. W12 (for west wall 12th column). Or you can use the field under the Image tab.

In the Image Tab, you can store a photograph of the sample for reference.
