Fortis Credit Card Processing Errors

Important: Not all transactions will process perfectly. There can be numerous reasons for errors while you are processing a credit card.

Fortis Credit Card Processing Errors

Transaction not complete

• When an incorrect number is entered for the credit card, it will produce an error like this below. This will tell you that there is an error with the credit card number.
  
  

• If the credit card swiped is expired, you will see an error like this below.  This informs you that the card is expired and another form of payment will be necessary.

• There are other types of errors possible and FrameReady will display the details regarding the error in the same way as these.

Merchant Account Settings are Missing

• Please make sure there is a merchant workstation record for your FileMaker workstation.
