Stopping and Starting Files on FileMaker Server

How to Stop Serving Files

1. Quit FrameReady on all computers.

2. On the server computer, open the FileMaker Server Admin Console.

3. Open the Configuration tab.

4. Under General Settings, click Stop Database Server.

5. In the Stop Database Server dialog, change the delay time to  0  (minutes) and click OK.
   
   The FileMaker Server stops serving all files and the button turns grey.

How to Start (or Restart) Serving Files

1. On the server computer open the FileMaker Server Admin Console.

2. On the Database Server Status page, click Start Database Server.

3. Exit the Server Admin Console.

4. Re-open FrameReady on your computers.
