Records Missing a Markup

A common error message when opening FrameReady is a dialog that states:

Clicking the OK button may not solve the problem.

What to do when this Error Message Appears

You are given the options of Cancel and OK. If you have clicked OK and still receive this message when opening FrameReady, use the following instructions.

  1. Log in as level4.

  2. Click Cancel and take a closer look at records on screen. Basically, there are two things to check for:

    • Are there wholesale costs in the blue fields for Length, Chop and Join?

    • Is there a Markup Formula under the Frame Pricing tab (in the Form View)?

Yes, there are Blank Records

Some of the Wholesale Costs are Empty

No Wholesale Cost Field for Selected Cost Type

The Wholesale Cost Fields Have Values

If valid amounts appear in the three blue wholesale cost fields for Length, Chop and Join, then the problem may be the markup.

  1. Open the blue Frame Pricing tab.

  2. In the Formula tab, you should see the calculated markup displayed, e.g. Markup = 3.2.

  3. If it reads Markup = 0, then the formula needs to be adjusted. (See Solution A below)

  4. If it reads Markup = ?, then there is an error in your formula. (See Solution C below)

Solution B

Note: on the Purchase Order, the item will be ordered as a Join frame. You can change the selection on the Purchase Order.
