Find an Exact Match

Perform a search for one particular item, for example, one piece of matboard, e.g. B48, and not get all other matboard starting with the same number, e.g. B4830, B4831, etc.

How to Find an Exact Find

Exactly Match the Whole Word

For example,  =John  finds John, John Smith and John Smithers but not Johnny or Johnston.

1. Go to the Price Codes > Find.

2. Type in a  =  (equal sign) and then the item you want to find  B48 

3. Click the Perform Find button.
   
   The Form View for B48 appears rather than a list view of all matboard that start with B48.

Another example: To find a fractional amount, enter an equal sign and place quotes around the number, e.g. to find all values equal to 1 5/8, enter:  = "1 5/8" 

Exactly Match the Entire Field Contents

For example,  ==John  finds "John" but not "John Smith" whereas  ==John Smith  finds "John Smith" but not "Smith John" or "John Smithers".

1. Go to the Price Codes > Find.

2. Type in  ==  (two equal signs) and then the item you want to find  B48 

3. Click the Perform Find button.
   
   The Form View for B48 appears rather than a list view of all matboard that start with B48.
