Use to select the type of glass.
This list must be customized to reflect the glass and fabric options offered in your shop; use the Price Codes file to do this.
Use to look-up an item by Fabric #, Supplier and Group. This is the best way to add an item if you do not use the barcode.
Tip: You only need to type in the first two or three digits of the item in the search field.
Use to enter items (name and retail price) not yet in your system.
Use to set the thickness; values are pulled from the Price Codes file.
This information affects the depth required for the framing (required rabbet depth) components shown on the main Work Order screen.
The retail Price field; the value is pulled from the Price Codes file.
Use to apply a percentage discount. Stored in decimal form, e.g. .10 = 10%
Use to select the advanced Combine Formula and Code Pricing setting from the item's Price Code file.
If not checked, do not check it here as it may double the price of the item (provided that a code appears in the Code Price tab below).
Use to select the frame (number) next to which your glazing is fitted. FrameReady sizes and prices the glazing accordingly.
If you have used the Layered Frame feature to price a stacked frame, then those frames are highlighted (in blue) on the Layered Frame icon.
The Fit to Frame field is used when glazing or fabric needs to be measured to the rabbet of a frame other than Frame1 (because Frame1 is always closest to the artwork). Example:
You want to stretch a fabric over a liner or you want to place the glazing on top of the liner. In either case, the liner is entered in the Frame1 field (in the Layered Frames screen) and the fabric or glazing (or both) is entered in the detail screen with 2 selected in the Fit to Frame field.
The Width and Height of the glazing; depending on the placement.
Use to remove the line item.

INV Field calculates how much of the lite is used; quarter, half or full sheet.

Use the Check Inventory button to access inventory data for each of the components.
You may enter inventory on this screen. Qty = amount. X and Y = width and height. Total = sum (not price). Location = shop shelf or bin #.
Note: This is for manual inventory only. You may want to adjust your inventory as you work therefore this screen allows easy access to all components.
Click Done to return to the Mats detail screen.
Identifies how the item is being priced based on how it is being measured; UI, square inch, square foot, square yard, or linear yard.
Unlike the other components (such as mounting or matboard) the size of the glazing/fabric can vary depending on the Fit to Frame position.
Code, Code Price by UI and Code Price by XY are pulled from the Price Codes file.
A Code Price over-rides any Formula pricing.
The XY price has priority over the UI price.
To give Square inch price priority over XY or UI, use the Code Price By Square checkbox.
If no Code is entered, FrameReady calculates the price based on the Formula.
These fields are modifiable and affect the current Work Order only.
A formula is used to calculate a price only when there is no Code Price.
The formula is based on the calculated Cost multiplied by a Markup plus a Set Price.
The MarkUp and Set Price fields are modifiable and affect the current Work Order only.
The Cost is based on the size as indicated.
The values are pulled from the Price Codes file.
