How to Bypass the “Order Taken By” Message

Question

I run a single-person operation. I don’t want to have to put my name in every time I create a work order. How do I bypass this prompt?

Answer

  1. Go to Main Menu > Work Orders section > Options tab

  2. Type your name in the Order Taken By field.

  3. That's it!

The name in the Order Taken By box will appear on every new work order (ideal for a one person shop).

Leave this default field blank to force staff filling out the work order to enter a name.

Employee names may be added to the list for easy entry using Edit... in the popup.
