In most cases moulding is bought and sold by the foot or meter.
In some situations or with some moulding it is bought and sold by the United Inch/Centimetre.
When this is case you have the option to enter a Cost per United Inch/centimetre and a Markup.
Go to Price Codes > Moulding > Frame Pricing tab and then select the Special tab.
Enter your Cost per UI and a Markup of your choosing.
Next, click the Check box to
United Inch/Centimetre Pricing.
The moulding item is now priced accordingly,
as noted at the top of the screen. The Retail Price Per Foot and Set
Price fields are cleared. The Price Sampler updates to show the updated
prices.
If you wish to apply the Markup and activate all the records for the selected vendor you can simply click the Apply button.
Caution: When the moulding is added to a Work Order, FrameReady shows either "PerUI" or "PerCM" in the Code field (when viewed in the Frame1 detail view). Do not remove this code as it tells FrameReady to price by the United Inch/Centimetre.
Note: When pricing by this method a frame cost is NOT calculated.
