FrameReady allows for the use of various finishes when it comes to gilding.
While it is possible to list every variable as a separate item number (and some vendors do), it is also possible to just list the raw, or basic, profiles and their related pricing, and then select the finishes to be applied in the Work Order screen.
Go to Work Order file > Frame1
If Auto Inventory is active,
click the purple Modify Work Order
button.
Click the Finishes
button.
The
Finishes table appears.
The Finishes table is where you enter any number of finishes that a supplier or manufacturer offers.
The purpose of the table is to provide a cascading effect when selecting one or more finishes. The values in the list are dependent on the value selected in the previous list. Setting up the table initially can be quite laborious.
A separate line or record is required for each and every variable. Setting up the table may be more easily accomplished using a spreadsheet and then importing it into the Finishes table.
The key to using the Finishes
table is that the name of the manufacturer must be spelled exactly as
it is in the Supplier field of the Price Codes file.
The supplier name must match that used by Adatasol Inc. and must remain
consistent between tables.
