Applying Your Own Moulding Pricing

How to Apply your own Moulding Prices

  1. Go to Price Codes > Moulding sidebar button.

  2. Locate a sample moulding record to experiment on; use the Find button to find a moulding number with which you are familiar.

  3. Click the Frame Pricing tab.

    The default formula under Markup = and Set Price fields appears.

  4. Modify or enter your new Formula.

  5. Click the Pricing Options and Defaults button.

    The Pricing Options and Defaults window appears.

Note: If you hold down the Shift key when clicking Pricing Options and Defaults, then your new formula is set as the Default Formula for that particular Supplier and Group.
At this point you may wish to de-select it as the Default Formula or you may wish to change the group and supplier parameters, e.g. you want this formula to apply to all
Suppliers not just the one on the record and/or you may want to apply it to other groups, i.e. fillet, liner.

Remember, you are working with a Default Formula; when you do your vendor pricing updates, FrameReady will use your pricing options and defaults.

  1. Locate the Formula you wish to apply and click the Apply This Formula to a Group of Records button.

    The Apply formula to a group of records window appears.

  2. If you want to apply this Formula to additional groups or to a specific vendor, select them here.

    • Choose a Apply only to records with a cost in cost (length), chop, join, or leave blank.

    • Choose a supplier in the Apply only to this Supplier field. Leave blank to apply to all Suppliers.

    • To exclude  Omits items where Category equals - Price Codes category

  3. Click Apply or Cancel.
