New in FrameReady 11: Glass Pricer
Use the Glass Pricer feature to quickly build the Code Table you want to use to price your glazing.
In Price Codes, click Glazing to switch to Form View.
Open the Glass Pricing tab.
Click the Glass Pricer
button.
The Glass Pricer window opens.
In the Glass Pricer window, enter the Width and Height of your lites.
Enter the Box Price you pay for a box of those lites.
Enter the Qty Per Box.
Enter the Markup you want to use or experiment with.
Enter a Set Price to cover the cost of shipping, cutting, etc.
Click the Build New Table
button.
The table fills with prices calculated
for many common sizes.
The calculation for the Cost Per Square Inch is:
Cost Per Square Inch = (( Box Price /
Lites Per Box ) / ( X x
Y ))
The calculation for Square Inches is:
Square Inches = X x Y
The formula for the Retail Price is:
Retail Price = Cost Per Square Inch x
Square Inches x Markup + Set
