Changing a Password for a Login Account

How to Change an Account Level Password

A login account is used to open FrameReady. You can change the password to any of the four built-in FrameReady login accounts. Make careful note of the new password.

Please note that account names cannot be changed.

1. Log into the level4 account.

2. From the Main Menu, choose Menu Bar > Accounts > Change Password.
   
   This option is only available when logged into the level4 account.

3. In the dialog window, click the Re-Login button.

4. In order to change an account password you must now enter the login credentials for that account: in the popup dialog box enter the account and password. Click OK.

5. The field "Login Account" will update to display the account level to be changed. Please note that you will also now be logged into that level. Now click the Change Password button.

6. In the popup dialog box, enter the old password, the new password and confirm new password.

IMPORTANT: Passwords are case sensitive.

7. Repeat from Step 1 for each account password you wish to change.

8. When finished, click Done to return to the Main Menu.

Note: Account names cannot be changed, only the passwords associated with them.
