You can also do a find and then do a second request to omit certain records from your find. For example, in your Keywords you may have two items listed: Landscapes and Mail Not Active. You want to do a mailing to everyone who likes landscapes but you don’t want to mail to anyone who is marked Mail Not Active.
Do the following:
- Go to Contacts > Find.
- Select Landscapes.
- Choose Requests > Add New Request.
- Choose View > Status toolbar.
The Status toolbar will appear on the top of the screen. Note the Omit field.
Tip: you can also select the Status Toolbar by clicking on the Status Toolbar button at the bottom left corner of the screen.
It looks like this.
- Click Omit.
- Now select the item you want to omit from the find. In our example it is Mail Not Active.
- Click Perform Find.
If you wish to do more than one Omit, you must remember to select Add New Request each time before selecting the next item.
