Store Policies and Procedures for your business!
Does you staff know how to handle: returns, refunds, discounts? Do they know the procedure for: closing out the till, power failures, fire alarms? FrameReady can help. Use the Message Center in FrameReady to track store policies and make it easy for all of your staff to know how to do the right thing. It’s easy to change or update when needed and lets your employees search by keywords instead of running through the shop looking for someone to ask. It makes everyone look knowledgeable and feel confident in dealing with the unexpected.
You can start by entering in one policy at a time as you encounter them on a day-to-day basis.
If you have a old policy book, now could be a good time to review and update them. The information moves with your software each time you upgrade and is stored in your FrameReady backup. A printed copy should be kept on hand for some policies such as the procedure for during a power failure. : )

If you are familiar with FileMaker Pro, you can even make your own customizations to the screen and change “Action Type” to be “Policy”, “Item” to be “Situation” and “Notes” to be “Solution”.
Remember: customizations you make to the screen will not transfer when you upgrade to a new version. Your data and information will transfer, but not layout modifications.
