Price Moulding by United Inch/Centimetre
-
In most cases moulding is bought and sold by the foot or meter.
-
In some situations or with some moulding it is bought and sold by the United Inch/Centimetre.
-
When this is case you have the option to enter a Cost per United Inch/centimetre and a Markup.
How to Price Moulding by the United Inch/Centimetre
-
Go to Price Codes > Moulding and open the Frame Pricing tab.
-
Open the Special tab.
-
Enter your Cost per UI and a Markup of your choosing.
-
Next, click the Check box to use United Inch Pricing checkbox.
The moulding item is now priced accordingly, as noted at the top of the screen. The Retail Price Per Foot and Set Price fields are cleared. -
If needed, click the Reset button to update the Price Sampler.
-
If you wish to apply the Markup and activate all the records for the selected vendor you can simply click the Apply button.
Caution: When the moulding is added to a Work Order, FrameReady shows either "PerUI" or "PerCM" in the Code field (when viewed in the Frame1 detail view). Do not remove this code as it tells FrameReady to price by the United Inch/Centimetre.
Note: When pricing by this method a frame cost is NOT calculated.
