Find by Date
There are several ways of performing a find using a date field.

You can find all records for a single day, or
-
all records in a given period, or
-
all records up to a certain date, or
-
all records after a certain date.
How to Find all records on a Single Day

Click the Find button.

Click in the date field and type the date using the format MM/DD/YYYY
Note: Avoid using only two digits for the year when doing a find. -
Click the Perform Find button.
How to Find all records in a Given Period (Range of Days)

Click the Find button.

Click in the date field and type a date range, e.g. MM/DD/YYYY…MM/DD/YYYY
Note: a date range is created by placing three periods between the first and last date in the range.
For example, 1/1/2018…3/1/2018 would find all records for the first quarter of 2018.

Click the Perform Find button.
Tip: If the date range is an entire month, then you can skip the day field.
For example, to find the month of April 2018, use 4/2018.
How to Find all records Before a Specified Date

Click the Find button.
-
Click in the date field and type three periods and then the date ...MM/DD/YYYY
-
Click the Perform Find button.
All records prior to and including this date are found.
How to Find all records After a Specified Date
-
Click the Find button.
-
Click in the date field and type the date and then three periods MM/DD/YYYY...

Click the Perform Find button.
All records after and including this date are found.
