Change the Desktop Shortcut Icon

If the shortcut to your FrameReady program is the default FileMaker graphic, then use these steps to change it to the FrameReady icon.

• These instructions are for Single User installations only.

How to change the Desktop icon on Windows

1. Click here to download the FrameReady Icon.ico file. Save it to your Downloads folder.

2. Locate the FrameReady icon on your Desktop and right-click it.
   
   

3. Choose Properties.
   
   

4. Click the Change Icon... button.
   
   

5. Click the Browse... button.

6. Go to your Downloads folder.

7. Choose the "FrameReady Icon.ico" file.
   
   

8. Click the Open button.
   
   

9. Click OK to close the Change Icon window.

10. Click OK to close the Properties window.

How to change the Desktop icon on macOS

1. Click here to download the FrameReady Icon.ico file. Save it to your Downloads folder.

2. Open Finder and go into your Downloads folder.

3. Double-click the "FrameReady Icon.ico" file to open it in Preview.

4. In the menu bar, click Edit and choose Select All.
   
   

5. Also, in the menu bar, click Edit and choose Copy.
   
   

6. Locate the FrameReady icon on your Desktop and right-click it and choose Get Info.
   
   

7. In the information window, single-click the picture of the icon.
   
   

8. In the menu bar, click Edit and choose Paste.
   
   

9. The contents of the clipboard are pasted into the picture of the icon.
   
   

10. Click the red exit icon to close the window.
