Setting up your own Matboard Pricing

How to set up Matboard Pricing

1. Go to Price Codes > Matboard sidebar button.

2. Locate a sample matboard record to experiment upon. Use the Find button to locate a number with which you are familiar.

3. Click the blue Matboard Pricing tab.
   
   A set of dark grey tabs appears (Markup, Set Price, Min Price, Code).

4. In the Markup tab, modify or enter your new formula.

5. Click the Set Price tab and modify or enter your new set price.
   
   E.g. 5 or Ceiling(Cost / 2)

6. Choose the radio button for your desired pricing structure, e.g. United Inch Area, Square Inch… (If necessary click Reset button to rest the Price Sampler.)

Note on United Inch Area

• Calculates a price based on the formula:
  
  (United Inch / 2) ^ 2

• For example, a 32x40 matboard is 72 United Inches (32 + 40).
  
  Divided by 2 is 36.
  
  Then squared is 1,296.
  
  Note this differs from the Area formula of width x height (which in our example is 1,280).
